Kforce has a client in Hartford, CT that is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead and streamline payroll operations for a nationwide organization. This role is hybrid, in-office 2 days a week. In this role, you will manage UKG and ADP payroll systems to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing across a large, multi-state workforce. Responsibilities: * Payroll Manager will oversee payroll platforms, primarily UKG Workforce Ready/UKG Pro and ADP Workforce Now, ensuring efficient and reliable payroll processing * Lead payroll system implementations, upgrades, and integrations with timekeeping, HRIS, and financial systems-customized to the operational needs of the parking industry * Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, including tax reporting, wage and hour regulations, and multi-jurisdictional requirements * As a Payroll Manager, you will troubleshoot payroll system issues and partner with IT, HR, and vendors to maintain system functionality and data accuracy * Establish and manage internal payroll controls, audits, and reporting processes to uphold accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness
