Payroll Integration Development Lead

Purpose

This role requires a dynamic individual who can take ownership of integration projects from design through execution, leveraging strong technical and functional expertise in the Workday ecosystem.

The Job (responsibilities):

Support the design, build, and deployment of Workday integrations, including inbound and outbound interfaces, utilizing Workday Studio, Workday Web Services (WWS), EIB, and Cloud Connect (CCW, PECI).Utilize strong coding skills (e.g., XSLT, XML, Java, SQL, and other integration technologies such as Workday Orchestrate/ Extend) to develop custom integrations in a scalable, efficient, and effective manner.Ensure seamless data flow and integration between Workday and other enterprise systems. Identify and resolve any data discrepancies, redundancies, or inefficiencies within the integration processes.Expertise in troubleshooting integration issues, data mapping, transformation and data validation.Work closely with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to gather integration requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. Foster positive relationships and collaboration across teams.Influence and guide stakeholders through the integration lifecycle, making recommendations for improvements, identifying potential risks, and effectively managing change.
Prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple concurrent projects, and adjust to shifting business needs.Demonstrate the ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision, while ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines.

The Person (requirements):

Over 5 years of proven experience in Workday integration development (Workday Studio, EIB, Workday Web Services, etc.)Ability to influence, prioritize, and collaborate effectively across teamsExcellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issuesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business requirementsWorkday Certification (Integration or Functional) is a plusExperience with Agile methodologies or similar project management frameworks.Strong project management and organizational skills.Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
