Charlie Gilmur with Robert Half is looking for a skilled Payroll/HR Administrator to join our team in Clackamas, Oregon. In this role, you will oversee payroll processes, manage HR functions, and ensure compliance with wage regulations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of payroll systems and human resources practices.
Responsibilities:
• Process and manage prevailing wage payroll in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports accurately and on time.
• Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including hiring and termination procedures.
• Administer employee benefits programs, such as 401k and other retirement plans.
• Utilize accounting software systems and tools to streamline payroll operations.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Conduct audits to verify payroll accuracy and address discrepancies.
• Generate reports using tools like Crystal Reports to support financial and HR decision-making.
• Maintain employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
• Support HR initiatives to promote a positive workplace environment.

Requirements • Proven experience with prevailing wage payroll and certified payroll reporting.
• Familiarity with HR processes, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now or Ceridian.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and benefit administration.
• Ability to generate detailed reports using tools like Crystal Reports.
• Experience with auditing payroll and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
