D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for aPayroll Coordinator for theirCorporate Human Resources Department. The right candidate will processsemi-monthly payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Review and process semi-monthly payroll for approximately 1,500 employees using PeopleSoft Calculate pay for new hires and terminationsPrepare manual checks and process garnishment, child support and tax levy ordersComply with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements for the payment of compensation and related taxesWork closely with Human Resources to maintain compliance with company policyRun queries utilizing PeopleSoft, researching and answering all payroll questionsConduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAble to work overtime

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)One to five years of previous payroll processing experience preferably using PeopleSoftMust understand and be able to calculate variety of incentive payStable work historyAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsProficiency with MS Office and email

Preferred Qualifications

Detail-oriented person with strong communication and data entry skillsAbility to work with minimal supervision and prioritize responsibilities

In office Monday – Friday, 9AM – 6PM
