Description Robert Half is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator for a growing manufacturing client in Vista, CA. This role is essential to ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, and that payroll processes comply with all applicable laws and company policies. Key Responsibilities: + Process bi-weekly and weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees + Maintain payroll records and ensure accuracy of employee data + Handle payroll deductions, garnishments, and benefit contributions + Reconcile payroll reports and assist with general ledger entries + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations + Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, and timekeeping + Collaborate with HR and accounting teams on onboarding and terminations + Assist with year-end reporting including W-2s and payroll audits Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred + 2+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment + Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or similar) and Excel + Strong knowledge of payroll laws and tax regulations + High level of accuracy and attention to detail + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
