Description Bridget Killen from Robert Half is looking for an HR/Payroll Specialist in Eugene, OR. This role involves managing the payroll process for a small team, maintaining accurate employee records, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be proficient in various accounting software systems and have a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: • Process bi-weekly payroll for a small team of employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Upload ACH payroll checks to the bank for processing. • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all personnel files are up-to-date and filed appropriately. • Prepare and file all quarterly and yearly reports related to payroll. • Manage the time clock system, including checking for missed punches, running weekly reports, and uploading data to the payroll system. • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for employees. • Coordinate with temporary staffing agencies regarding new hires, terminations, and timecards. • Assist in yearly benefits renewal process and communicate updates to employees. • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail in all tasks. • Be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint for efficient data management and communication. • Other duties as needed to support the payroll and HR function.
