Description We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Everett, Washington. In this role, you will provide essential support to the Payroll Manager by ensuring timely and accurate entry of employee time cards and payroll data. This position is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a basic understanding of payroll processes. Responsibilities: • Accurately input employee time card and payroll data into systems such as ADP Workforce Now. • Assist the Payroll Manager with processing payroll and maintaining organized payroll records. • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in payroll data to ensure precision and compliance. • Handle payroll-related documentation and reporting as requested. • Maintain strict confidentiality when working with sensitive employee information. • Collaborate with team members to address payroll-related inquiries and issues. • Support the preparation and distribution of payroll for employees across various departments. Requirements • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. • Basic knowledge of payroll processes, with prior experience in payroll systems being advantageous. • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll platforms is a plus. • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • At least 1 year of relevant experience in payroll or a related administrative role. • Proficiency in handling payroll for a range of employee counts, including garnishments and time card processing.
