Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Clerk to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to payroll operations for a non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will excel at managing payroll processes efficiently and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities: • Process payroll accurately and on time for an organization with 101-500 employees. • Handle full-cycle payroll activities, including data entry, calculations, and verification. • Manage garnishments and deductions, ensuring proper documentation and compliance. • Maintain payroll records and ensure they are up-to-date and organized. • Resolve payroll discrepancies by investigating issues and implementing solutions. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations. • Prepare and submit payroll reports to internal and external stakeholders as required. • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations. • Provide support during audits by supplying necessary payroll documentation. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in organizations with 101-500 employees. • Strong knowledge of full-cycle payroll procedures and regulations. • Familiarity with managing payroll garnishments and deductions. • Proficiency in payroll software and systems. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under deadlines. • Effective communication skills to liaise with various departments and stakeholders.
