Key Responsibilities:
The Payroll Clerk will support payroll operations and ensure accurate and timely processing. Responsibilities include:
+ Preparing and processing payroll for employees in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
+ Reviewing and verifying payroll data, such as timekeeping records and employee benefits.
+ Handling payroll adjustments, including deductions, reimbursements, and bonuses.
+ Collaborating with other departments to resolve payroll discrepancies.
+ Ensuring payroll records are accurately maintained for audit and compliance purposes.
+ Responding to employee inquiries related to payroll.
+ Staying current with changes in payroll regulations and company policy updates.
Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or HR administration is a plus.
+ 1–3 years of payroll or accounting experience preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
+ Proficiency in payroll software (ADP is a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
+ Familiarity with payroll laws and regulations is a bonus.
