Description We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Clerk to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while contributing to the efficiency of our operations. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong payroll expertise and familiarity with various accounting software systems. Responsibilities: • Process payroll promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information and payment details. • Utilize accounting software systems such as ADP Workforce Now, PeopleSoft, and UKG to manage payroll-related tasks. • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues. • Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. • Assist with auditing payroll processes to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards. • Support benefit-related functions by managing payroll deductions and contributions. • Handle accounts payable related to payroll, ensuring proper documentation and timely payments. • Provide guidance and support during payroll system transitions or implementations. • Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and practices to ensure compliance. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll processing and related functions. • Proficiency in accounting software systems such as ADP Workforce Now, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, and UKG. • Strong understanding of accounts payable and benefit functions. • Ability to perform audits and ensure compliance with payroll regulations. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams. • Knowledge of payroll-related laws and regulations. • Familiarity with accounting functions and financial recordkeeping.
