Description Nick Corieri from Robert Half is looking for an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join a mission-driven non-profit organization in Syracuse, New York. This role involves managing payroll processes and benefit administration for a large workforce while ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational policies. Key Responsibilities: + Administer biweekly payroll in coordination with the Finance department. + Ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws. + Manage benefit enrollments and serve as a resource for employee benefits questions. + Maintain and secure personnel files and HR system data. + Prepare internal reports and support HR leadership with board-level reporting. + Evaluate compensation and performance evaluation programs. + Deliver employee education and training as needed.
