Payroll Associate

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll & HRIS Support Specialist to assist our HR Manager with timekeeping, reporting, and system updates within Paycom. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, takes initiative, and has a strong sense of accuracy and accountability—especially during payroll cycles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Excel Proficiency: Ability to use formulas, filters, and pivot tables to support reporting and payroll verification. Applied during payroll week and for exception-based reporting.HRIS Experience (Paycom or similar): Familiarity with navigating HR systems to update employee data, pull reports, and manage timecards. Applied daily in support of HR operations.Timekeeping & Payroll Support Knowledge: Understanding how time punches affect payroll accuracy. Applied during timecard edits and payroll readiness checks.Data Accuracy & Entry Skills: High attention to detail when entering clock-in data from attendance sheets. Applied consistently to ensure payroll integrity.Communication & Collaboration: Ability to work respectfully and effectively with HR Manager and cross-functional teams. Applied in daily interactions and during high-pressure payroll cycles.

Required Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.2+ years of experience in HR support, payroll assistance, or administrative roles.Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS platforms is highly desirable but not mandatory.No certifications required, but familiarity with payroll processes is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
