Payroll Associate
**Position Summary** Payroll and Benefits Associate Total experience – 3 to 4 years in payroll Processing and Accounting Location – Airoli, Navi Mumbai **What You Will Do** As our Payroll & Benefits Associate, you will be the face of this vital team, acting as the first line of support for Europe Employees. + Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll inputs and payroll approvals to Payroll Service Provider – PSP) by adhering to the prescribed timelines for a number of sites (countries) and managing the relationship with external providers to ensure delivery of all agreed services. + Working with HR teams/partners across Europe to co-ordinate data for completion of monthly payrolls to ensure delivery of payroll using external Payroll Service Providers. + Create and manage strong relationships across Payroll, tax authorities, benefits suppliers, HR and Finance. + Running and analysing reports for internal and external audits and maintaining reports for management to support business decisions, using SAP. + Query resolution on all payroll requests for internal and external audits. + Point of contact for resolution of issues between employees and PSPs, and trouble shooting issues relating to payroll that require policy interpretation. + Working with PSPs to ensure all statutory payroll returns are filed and paid over to the respective authority. + Ensuring Payroll procedures are compliant with in country regulations every month/ quarter/ year as stipulated by law. + Completes posting of Payroll Journals and payment entries every month within set timelines and reconciliation of payroll accounts + Work closely with the payroll vendor for timely preparation of Annual returns/ Quarterly Returns and maintaining employee registers as prescribed by law. + Managing other benefits and liaising with vendors including but not limited to health, pension, meal vouchers + Manage payroll partner relationships including identifying recurring issues in service and escalating appropriately To Be Successful You Must Have + 3 to 4 years of experience payroll processingwith a proven track record in exposure to EMEA and/or UK payrolls in a multinational environment + Integrity and professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential information. + Extremely detail oriented, and use your time management to juggle multiple priorities, working with colleagues in different locations. + Excellent and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills working in a cross functional environment + Customer experience – dealing with customers (employees, tax authorities etc) across European locations + Proficiency in MS Office with strong knowledge of excel and word is essential, and some knowledge of accounting systems would be advantageous + Eye to details and problem-solving attitude. + Strong relationship and interpersonal skills with ability to work in teams. + Available to work in Europe Shift. + Sound with excel and Power point skills + Self-starter and organized individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and keep to deadlines **Good to have Skills:** + Analytical skills. + Exposure to SAP system and proficiency in use of various software. + Quick to adapt to change in processes or Technology. + Profound knowledge in legal compliances affecting European Countries payroll domain.
