Overall objective of the Role
Performs all life-cycle payroll transactions and activities to ensure the processing of an accurate and timely payroll. Displays decision-making skills that support company and payroll policies.
Main Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
Independently process payroll from end to end according the defined standards and client requirements including all associated payroll tasksIndependently manage social insurance related documents and data entryMonitor and manage ticket queues using the appropriate BI tools to ensure tickets are handled per the defined timelines and do not exceed expected thresholdsAbility to utilize the hrX suite of tools as it relates to payroll processing and all associated activitiesBe able to understand and interpret a payslipBe able to understand and follow the payroll calendarIdentify deviations from the standard scope of service and act accordingly including the identification and support of change request opportunitiesAbility to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential informationProduce and understand standard and client specific payroll reports including statutory year end reporting needsReview and validate data for accuracy and completeness and initiates corrections per the defined standardsAnswer payroll related questions and requestsSupport and execute SOC1 ControlsMaintain and apply defined work instructions (DWIs)Perform Transactions with Third partiesProvide clear knowledge transfers to peersSupport the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processSupport and manage system maintenance testingSupport technical issue coordination and resolutionMaintains current knowledge of legislation requirements; system updates, changes and overall payroll proceduresParticipates in projects and activities as needed and assignedKey Criteria to monitor performance

Essential
BA/BS in a business-related field such as Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education & experience2-3 years relevant experience administering Payroll or Health & Welfare/Benefits in an HR consulting, HR Outsourcing or Corporate environment.Social insurance specialist certificateDesirable
