Payroll Analyst
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to oversee payroll operations and support human resources initiatives in Memphis, Tennessee. This role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, managing employee relations, and executing payroll processes accurately. The ideal candidate will contribute to employee onboarding, training programs, and performance management while maintaining a productive and engaging workplace. Responsibilities: • Manage payroll operations, including accurate execution of salaried payroll on a bi-weekly basis. • Administer employee benefits and maintain electronic employee records using HRIS systems. • Support employee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure smooth transitions for new hires. • Provide guidance on employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance improvement counseling. • Conduct investigations into discrimination and unfair employment practices, adhering to federal and state regulations. • Assist in planning and implementing HR initiatives such as training programs, compensation strategies, and employee engagement activities. • Evaluate the effectiveness of HR training programs and recommend improvements to enhance productivity. • Monitor employee absenteeism and collaborate with supervisors to enforce disciplinary measures appropriately. • Ensure compliance with affirmative action planning and workplace safety standards. • Collaborate with management to align employee services with organizational policies and goals. Requirements • Proven experience in human resources administration, payroll processes, and employee relations. • Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and electronic record management. • Ability to conduct investigations and handle sensitive employment issues professionally. • Familiarity with compliance regulations, affirmative action planning, and workplace safety standards. • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage onboarding and training programs. • Experience in administering employee benefits and compensation strategies. • Ability to analyze HR metrics and implement strategies for improvement. • Proficiency in managing disciplinary actions and performance counseling effectively.
