Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Analyst in Houston, TX. Summary: We are seeking a Payroll Analyst responsible for performing various tasks and procedures to administer salaries &\and wages, withholdings, benefits, and other payroll-related payments to employees. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Prepare and validate calculations for employee wages, benefits, taxes, and other withholdings using the payroll system * Validate the accuracy of employee time and attendance entries approved by supervisors for payroll processing * Maintain organized current and historical employee payroll records, including elections, changes, and supporting documentation * Complete required federal and state forms and filing procedures for new hires, changes, and terminated employees * Administer involuntary garnishments and taxes levied according to local, state, and federal orders * Support quarterly and year-end payroll processing and reporting (e.g., Forms 940-941, W-2s) * Assist with data compilation and special requests during audits, system testing, and other internal or external initiatives * Provide timely service, handle disputes tactfully, and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, and co-workers
