Payroll Analyst: PeopleSoft / API
CTG is seeking a detail-oriented, technically adept HCM Systems Analyst to manage and optimize payroll and HR applications with a focus on PeopleSoft HCM and API Time and Attendance and Scheduling. This role will bridge the gap between HR / payroll operations and IT, helping optimize systems and processes that directly support human resource management, payroll, benefits, and recruiting. **Key Responsibilities** + Collaborate with HR and finance stakeholders to understand operational needs, gather business requirements, analyze workflows, and recommend PeopleSoft HCM solutions. + Maintain and support PeopleSoft HCM modules, including Core HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, Absence Management, ePerformance, and Self-Service . + Configure and support symplr (aka API Healthcare) Time and Attendance and Scheduling modules, including integration with PeopleSoft. + Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting the PeopleSoft HCM suite, including integrations. + Translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications for development teams. + Analyze payroll data for discrepancies, trends, and potential improvements. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. + Generate reports and dashboards to support audits, reconciliations, and leadership inquiries. + Lead testing efforts during system upgrades, enhancements, and integration rollouts + Support system testing, including test script creation, execution, and defect tracking. + Document current and future-state processes and maintaining user guides, training materials, and support documentation. + Monitor integration points between PeopleSoft HCM and clinical, financial, or external vendor systems. + Assist with projects related to system upgrades, enhancements, and regulatory compliance. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, HRIS, Computer Science, or related field. + 3+ years of PeopleSoft HCM experience with solid hands-on knowledge of configuration and support for Payroll, Core HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Absence Management, and other modules. + Strong technical experience with API Healthcare (aka Symplr) Time and Attendance and Scheduling modules, including integration with PeopleSoft. + Proficient in PeopleSoft technical tools, including PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Traces, App Designer, and others. + Understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements. + Proficiency in SQL or related scripting/reporting tools. + Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. + Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
