Payroll Advisor – Join INPEX (via Airswift )

Perth CBD | 12 month contract* (view to extend and eventually be made perm!) | ? Energy Sector

Airswift is proud to be partnering with INPEX, one of the world’s leading energy companies, to source a passionate and driven Payroll Advisor for their Perth-based People Services team.

About the Role:

As a Payroll Advisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of payroll services across INPEX’s complex and dynamic workforce. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys being at the heart of people, process, and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end payroll processing (PAYG, STP, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, etc.)

Maintain employee, salary, and leave records

Respond to payroll queries across the organisation

Assist with quarterly and year-end audits, reconciliations, and reporting

Support redundancy and termination calculations

System testing for enhancements and legislative updates (SAP)

Provide full back-up to the Lead Payroll Advisor

Contribute to salary continuance, Workers Compensation, FBT, and other key reports

What You’ll Bring:

? 3+ years’ experience in end-to-end payroll
? SAP HR/Payroll experience essential (SuccessFactors a bonus)
? Strong knowledge of Australian payroll compliance
? High attention to detail and strong communication skills
? Experience in the resource or energy sector (FIFO, shift-based work) highly regarded
