Essential Responsibilities:
Process full cycle hourly, and salaried payrolls, using our in-house ERP systemManage, reconcile, file and remit monthly, quarterly and annual stakeholder payments (WCB, EHT, etc.)Collaborate with work sites to ensure accurate and timely entry to Time Entry module and resolve time entry issues; assist with Time Entry as requiredEnsure timely reporting of all payrolls withholding tax paymentsPayroll accounts Reconciliation on quarterly and annual basisAnswer internal and external payroll inquiriesPayroll related office clerical work assigned by SupervisorProcessing remittances such as CRA, Unions and WCBQualifications:
Over 2 years of experience in an administrative or related rolePayroll Compliance Professional (PCP) certification from the National Payroll InstituteKnowledge of U.S. payroll processes is an advantageExceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities accuratelyEagerness to learn new systems and platforms, such as Workday and ServiceNowStrong critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilitiesSelf-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervisionCustomer service-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to process payroll accurately and efficiently within tight deadlinesStrong organizational and time management skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate levelPositive, team-oriented attitude with a friendly and professional demeanorEffective verbal and written communication skills for business environmentsWork Conditions:
This is a hybrid role involving both working from home and attending the office 1-2 days per weekCompensation
$47,200-$64,900 Annual
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
