Payroll Administrator
Description We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This role involves managing payroll processes for a multi-location organization while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in payroll systems and HR administration, with a focus on optimizing workflows and supporting employee needs. Responsibilities: • Administer payroll for approximately 400 employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing. • Adjust payroll differentials based on holidays and scheduling anomalies. • Verify and audit timesheets prior to payroll processing to maintain accuracy. • Manage documentation related to new hires, salary adjustments, and changes in deductions. • Reconcile payroll batches to overtime, sick leave, vacation summaries, and other relevant metrics. • Learn and transition legacy systems to automated processes, ensuring no details are overlooked. • Generate and analyze reports using ADP Workforce Now to support payroll operations. • Provide support for HR functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, and worker’s compensation audits. • Collaborate on general ledger processes, with potential involvement in transitioning systems. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll administration. • Proficiency in handling multi-state payroll for organizations with 101-500 employees. • Advanced knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, including report creation. • Strong understanding of general ledger processes and reconciliation. • Familiarity with HR administration, including onboarding and benefits management. • Experience with payroll audits and ensuring compliance with government regulations. • Ability to adapt to system transitions and automation initiatives. • Knowledge of time and attendance modules is a plus.
