Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Walnut, California. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage payroll operations for a large, multistate workforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll systems, excel in handling complex payroll processes, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. Responsibilities: • Process full-cycle payroll for a workforce exceeding 1,000 employees across multiple states. • Utilize JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Workforce Now to manage payroll operations efficiently. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. • Prepare and analyze payroll reports using advanced Excel functionalities, including pivot tables. • Administer in-house payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. • Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes. • Manage payroll adjustments related to union or construction workforce, if applicable. • Implement best practices to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management for large, multistate organizations. • Proficiency in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Workforce Now systems. • Advanced skills in Excel, including the ability to create and interpret pivot tables. • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations. • Experience with in-house payroll systems. • Ability to handle payroll for over 1,000 employees. • Familiarity with union or construction payroll processes is a plus. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
