Lookers Head Office Manchester – Remote with occasional travel to a Lookers Dealership
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £24,000 - £27,250 (Depending on Experience)
Hours: 37.5 per week

Are you detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about delivering accurate and timely payroll services? We’re looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring our employees are paid correctly and on time.
Responsibilities Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of monthly employment changes, including new starters, transfers, promotions, maternity, paternity, sickness, bonus, overtime and terminationsAssist with the completion of NMW categorisations and calculationsResolve payroll related queries, delivering a high standard of customer serviceProvide assistance and support to the wider teamReview processes and maintain up to date process notes and guidesAssist with interfaces and data loads into the payroll systemSupport payroll control, audit and complianceBACS payment processing and report productionInvolvement in annual project activities Qualifications Knowledge of student loans, SMP, SPP, SSP and other pay related legislationStrong problem solving abilitiesHighly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise your own workload, as well as assist other team members where neededExperience working with a fast-paced environment and the ability to meet tight deadlinesStrong customer service focus and the ability to build strong relationships at all levelsExcellent attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skills
