Payroll Administrator
Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to oversee and manage payroll operations for our organization in Dallas, Texas. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to accurate and efficient payroll processing while ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving abilities, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Responsibilities: • Process employee payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. • Review and verify employee work hours, payroll records, and wage calculations to maintain precision. • Prepare and distribute payments, including checks, direct deposits, and tax filings. • Manage payroll operations across multiple states, business units, and legal entities. • Maintain compliance with tax laws and internal controls, ensuring all payroll practices align with relevant standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address payroll-related inquiries and contribute to process improvements. • Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll management and reporting. • Conduct payroll reconciliations and audits to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Assist in developing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and streamline payroll processes. • Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations to ensure ongoing compliance. Requirements • Proven experience handling full-cycle payroll operations. • Familiarity with multi-state payroll processes and regulations. • Ability to manage payroll for organizations with 101-500 employees. • Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll management. • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving. • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
