Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to oversee and manage payroll operations for a mid-sized workforce. This contract position offers an opportunity to utilize your expertise in full-cycle and multi-state payroll processes while ensuring compliance and accuracy. Based in Van Nuys, California, this role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in payroll systems and a meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities: • Process full-cycle payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring timely and accurate payment. • Manage payroll for a workforce of 101-500 employees, addressing any discrepancies or inquiries. • Utilize ADP Workforce Now to execute payroll operations efficiently and maintain accurate records. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements. • Conduct audits of payroll data to identify and resolve errors or inconsistencies. • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll processes and address employee concerns. • Prepare and distribute necessary payroll reports to stakeholders as required. • Handle employee information securely and maintain confidentiality throughout payroll processes. • Assist with year-end payroll activities, including tax filings and reconciliations. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration, including full-cycle payroll. • Strong expertise in managing multi-state payroll operations. • Familiarity with payroll systems for mid-sized organizations (101-500 employees). • Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software. • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address payroll discrepancies. • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and employees. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
