Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Jurupa Valley, California. This position is ideal for candidates with certified payroll experience and a strong background in union payroll processes. You will play a key role in managing compliance with labor agreements and certified payroll documentation for a workforce of over 200 employees. Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of certified payroll reports in compliance with labor agreements and regulations. • Manage union payroll processes, including hourly payroll and fringe benefits calculations. • Utilize Excel tools such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP to analyze payroll data and generate reports. • Work with payroll systems, including ADP Workforce Now, Paychex, and Prism, to maintain and retrieve payroll information. • Collaborate with internal teams to verify payroll data and address discrepancies. • Handle multi-state payroll requirements for a diverse workforce. • Maintain detailed records of payroll transactions and ensure compliance with reporting standards. • Assist in resolving payroll-related inquiries and issues promptly and professionally. • Support audits and reviews by providing necessary payroll documentation and reports. Requirements • Proven experience in certified payroll and union payroll processes. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUP. • Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Paychex, and Prism. • Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance standards. • Certified Payroll designation is preferred. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage payroll for a workforce of 200+ employees. • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
