Payroll Administrator
Description We are looking for a PART-TIME (10-20 hours a week) skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Greenwood, Indiana. In this role, you will oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees across multiple states. This is a long-term contract opportunity within the manufacturing industry, ideal for professionals with extensive payroll expertise. Responsibilities: • Manage and execute full-cycle payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Handle multi-state payroll operations, adhering to specific state regulations. • Process payroll for a workforce ranging from 101 to 500 employees. • Utilize payroll software such as ADP Workforce Now and UKG to streamline payroll functions. • Calculate and file payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines. • Maintain up-to-date records of employee payroll information and address discrepancies. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless payroll integration and reporting. • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements related to payroll. • Provide support for audits and inquiries related to payroll data. • Identify opportunities for process improvements within payroll operations. Requirements • Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll processes. • Expertise in multi-state payroll administration. • Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now and UKG. • Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance. • Experience working with payroll for teams of 101-500 employees. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. • Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
