Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Longmont, Colorado, and focuses on managing payroll processes, benefits administration, and onboarding for remote employees across multiple states. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in multi-state payroll and a proactive approach to supporting additional HR functions as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle payroll operations for remote employees located across various states.
• Administer employee benefits, ensuring timely updates and accurate processing.
• Oversee onboarding procedures to integrate new hires seamlessly into the organization.
• Process payroll for a workforce of under 100 employees using ADP systems.
• Handle multi-state payroll compliance, ensuring adherence to local regulations.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to address payroll-related queries and issues.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation using QuickBooks Online.
• Assist with Microsoft Office Suite tasks related to payroll and benefits reporting.
• Support other HR administration functions as needed to contribute to organizational goals. Requirements • Proven experience managing full-cycle payroll processes, including multi-state payroll.
• Familiarity with payroll systems like ADP and QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of benefits administration and onboarding procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular expertise in Excel.
• Ability to manage payroll for a small workforce, ideally under 100 employees.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations for multi-state payroll operations.
• Experience in HR administration and willingness to assist in additional HR tasks.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure efficient payroll operations.
