Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Administrator in Herndon, VA.
Duties Include:
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees
* Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and company policies
* Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions, including timesheets, deductions, and benefits
* Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner
* Prepare and submit payroll reports for management, including summaries of earnings, taxes, and deductions
* Ensure accurate calculation and filing of payroll taxes, including social security, Medicare, and unemployment insurance
* Manage and update payroll systems to reflect changes in employee status, tax laws, and company policies
* Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll data and employee information
* Provide training and support to staff on payroll procedures and systems
* Assist with payroll audits and implement necessary changes to improve processes and compliance
