Payroll Administrator
Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Clearwater, Florida. In this role, you will oversee multi-state payroll processes, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and contribute to process improvements in a dynamic and growing organization. Responsibilities: • Process payroll transactions accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. • Maintain detailed payroll records, including tax filings, wage calculations, and employee deductions. • Conduct internal audits to ensure payroll accuracy and prepare documentation for external audits. • Collaborate on process improvement initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency and support organizational growth. • Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries or issues with attention to detail and in a timely manner. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, including multi-state payroll regulations. • Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting requests as needed. • Analyze payroll processes to identify errors and recommend system enhancements • Support the integration of payroll functions during organizational changes or acquisitions. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, including 2+ years working with Workday Payroll. • Proven expertise in multi-state payroll processing across at least 40 states. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. • Certifications such as CPP or FPC are highly desirable. • Strong understanding of payroll functions, including tax compliance, balancing, and internal controls. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software, particularly Workday. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
