Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting employee benefits administration. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in payroll systems and accounting functions. Responsibilities: • Process and manage payroll operations using ADP Workforce Now and other accounting software systems. • Ensure accuracy in employee compensation, tax deductions, and benefit allocations. • Handle 401k and RRSP administration while maintaining compliance with regulations. • Utilize tools like Crystal Reports to generate detailed payroll and auditing reports. • Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries. • Perform regular audits to ensure adherence to payroll policies and procedures. • Support benefit functions, including enrollment and administration. • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to payroll and benefits. • Work with Ceridian and other systems to streamline payroll workflows. • Assist in implementing process improvements for payroll and accounting functions. Requirements • Proven experience with accounting software systems, including ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian. • Strong knowledge of payroll functions, auditing, and benefit administration. • Proficiency in tools like Crystal Reports for report generation. • Familiarity with 401k and RRSP administration processes. • Ability to manage payroll operations with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address employee concerns effectively. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Knowledge of compliance standards related to payroll and benefits.
