Description We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join our team in New York, New York. This role involves overseeing payroll operations for a restaurant group with multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting employees. You will play a key role in managing payroll systems, benefits, and employee onboarding processes.
Responsibilities:
• Process payroll for approximately 275 employees, including hourly staff across five restaurants and salaried employees within a management corporation.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll functions, administer benefits, and onboard new hires.
• Maintain accurate employee records and input data into Excel spreadsheets, leveraging intermediate Excel skills to organize and analyze information.
• Ensure payroll compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with management to address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Facilitate employee benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision plans, and 401(k) contributions.
• Generate and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support timekeeping and attendance tracking using systems such as Kronos.
• Assist with sick leave tracking and employee dining program discounts.
• Provide strong attention to detail and ensure confidentiality in handling sensitive payroll information. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Kronos.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data manipulation.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to adapt to new systems.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain stability and consistency in previous roles.
• Familiarity with benefits administration and compliance regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
