Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Accountant to join our client's team in Eudora, Kansas. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with expertise in payroll management and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling multi-state payroll and tax reporting while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities: • Oversee and execute full-cycle payroll processes, including timely and accurate payment to employees. • Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll operations effectively. • Handle multi-state payroll operations and ensure compliance with regional regulations. • Prepare and file payroll tax reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. • Manage garnishments and deductions in accordance with legal requirements. • Maintain and update payroll records for employees across various locations. • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries. • Implement and optimize payroll software to streamline processes. • Ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures to minimize risks. • Generate detailed payroll reports for management review and analysis. Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management. • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software. • Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and practices. • Expertise in payroll tax reporting and compliance. • Familiarity with managing garnishments and deductions. • Ability to process payroll for mid-sized organizations (101-500 employees). • Excellent organizational and analytical skills. • Strong communication abilities to liaise with internal teams and stakeholders.
