Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Wilmington, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will excel in handling complex payroll operations and demonstrate expertise in managing high-volume, multi-state payroll processes. This role requires proficiency with ADP Payroll systems to ensure accurate and efficient payroll execution.
Responsibilities:
• Execute biweekly payroll processing for a multi-state workforce while adhering to compliance standards.
• Manage high-volume payroll operations with precision and attention to detail.
• Utilize ADP Payroll systems to ensure timely and accurate payroll calculations.
• Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies with a high level of care and accuracy.
• Verify and maintain employee payroll records to ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support payroll reporting and audits.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
• Prepare and distribute payroll summaries and reports as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll accounting with expertise in multi-state payroll processing.
• Proficiency in using ADP Payroll systems is mandatory.
• Ability to handle high-volume payroll operations with accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and resolve payroll-related concerns.
• High level of attention to detail and dedication to maintaining data integrity.
