Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Accountant to join our team in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position that offers a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office and two days from home each week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processes and be comfortable handling multi-state payroll and tax reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post accurate payroll journal entries in a timely manner.
• Manage payroll tax reporting and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Process multi-state payroll and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now for payroll-related tasks and system management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll inquiries and provide solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of payroll transactions and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Assist with payroll system transitions and adapt to new processes as needed.
• Perform regular audits to verify payroll data integrity and compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end payroll reporting activities. Requirements
• Proven experience with full-cycle payroll processes.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or UKG strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of multi-state payroll requirements.
• Expertise in payroll tax reporting and compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
• Familiarity with payroll system transitions is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for resolving payroll-related issues.
