Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Meridian, Idaho. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in auditing and accounting functions, as well as strong proficiency in QuickBooks and spreadsheet management. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with 401k audit requirements. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the auditing team to conduct thorough reviews of financial records and reports. • Prepare and balance detailed reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Utilize spreadsheet tools, including pivot tables, to analyze financial data effectively. • Support 401k audit processes by gathering necessary documentation and running relevant reports. • Maintain and manage accounting systems, including QuickBooks Desktop. • Apply accrual accounting principles to ensure proper financial reconciliation. • Coordinate with organizational teams to address credit-related matters. • Perform specialized tasks related to auditing and accounting functions. Requirements • Proven experience in auditing and accounting functions. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and spreadsheet tools such as pivot tables. • Familiarity with 401k administration and compliance processes. • Strong understanding of accrual accounting principles. • Ability to work effectively with auditing teams and organizational departments. • Experience with accounting software systems such as Ceridian and Concur. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
