Job Title: Manager of Retention Reports To: Director of Customer Success (Kayla Mastbergen)Location: Irving, TX ( In Office) Job Summary The Manager of Retention is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive customer loyalty, reduce churn, and maximize lifetime value. This role leads a team focused on proactive engagement, renewal management, and customer satisfaction, ensuring that clients receive consistent value from our services. Key Responsibilities + Retention Strategy & Execution + Design and implement retention programs that align with business goals. + Analyze churn data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and satisfaction. + Team Leadership + Lead and mentor a team of retention specialists or customer success managers. + Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and provide coaching for continuous improvement. + Foster a culture of accountability, empathy, and customer-centricity. + Customer Engagement + Oversee renewal processes and ensure timely communication with clients. + Develop personalized retention plans for high-risk accounts. + Partner with Sales and Product teams to deliver value-driven solutions. + Data & Reporting + Track retention metrics, including churn rate, renewal rate, and customer health scores. + Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership. + Maintain accurate records in CRM and other customer success platforms. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred). + 5+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or retention strategy. + Proven leadership experience with a track record of reducing churn and improving customer satisfaction. + Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data tools (e.g., Excel, Salesforce, Gainsight). + Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
