Payment Settlement Processor

Position Summary The Payment Settlement Processor is an individual contributor and reports to the Payment Settlement & Services Manager. The processor role is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to Marathon’s Jobber, Dealer, and Direct Dealer network. Key Responsibilities + Processes site set-ups for new locations, monitors payment file processing, and reconciles daily payments. + Verifies transaction details and ensures all charges are legitimate and properly documented. + Handles disputes and resolves any issues related to credit card transactions in a timely manner. + Generates regular and ad-hoc reports on credit card transactions for management review. + Assists in audits and provides documentation as required. + Identifies opportunities to streamline credit card processing procedures and enhance efficiency. + Maintains detailed records of all transactions, approvals, and reconciliations. + Manages a wide variety of sensitive paper and digital documentation as directed by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, company Records Retention policy, and Legal hold orders. + Collaborates with a wide variety of customer support personnel, including external point of sale (POS) technicians, Internal IT and POS support personnel, various Payment Card related entities, and Payment Systems customer service representatives. Education and Experience MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + High School Diploma or equivalent required. + Two (2) or more years of relevant support experience required.
