Payment Analyst
Description We are looking for a skilled Payment Analyst to join our team in Cary, North Carolina. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in payment systems, eCommerce platforms, and data analysis to optimize transaction processes and ensure seamless payment operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and bring strong analytical skills to improve payment flows and compliance standards. Responsibilities: • Analyze payment transaction data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization. • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure smooth payment processing and system integration. • Monitor and resolve issues related to chargebacks, settlements, and payment reconciliations. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights on payment performance and metrics. • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including PCI-DSS, and address risk and audit requirements. • Optimize eCommerce checkout processes to enhance user experience and conversion rates. • Support contract compliance initiatives by overseeing payment agreements and ensuring prompt settlements. • Work with payment gateways such as PayPal and Stripe to streamline operations and maintain functionality. • Utilize tools like Microsoft SQL and Power BI to extract and analyze data effectively. • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of payment workflows. Requirements • Proven experience in data analysis and payment systems within an eCommerce or financial environment. • Familiarity with payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal, or similar platforms. • Knowledge of electronic payment processes and compliance standards, including PCI-DSS. • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft SQL and Power BI for data analysis and reporting. • Strong understanding of payment reconciliation, transaction processing, and chargeback management. • Ability to optimize checkout and payment flows to improve user experience and conversion rates. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams. • Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring accuracy and compliance in payment operations.
