Job Description
Technical Skills: Ability to input and access information into the ADP system; ability to maintain concentration and think clearly; ability to prioritize, organize and follow-up; ability to promote positive relations with vendors and associates alike; ability to provide clear and pleasant telephone communication; ability to maintain confidentiality of pertinent employee data; ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision; ability to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods of time; ability to focus on details and resolve numerical problems; ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
Language: Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting up to 25 pounds, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.
Qualifications: High school diploma.
Experience: Minimum two years’ payroll processing experience.

Rosewood Miramar Beach, a Rosewood Hotel, is looking for a talented and extraordinary Paymaster. The Paymaster is responsible for processing biweekly payroll and maintaining payroll system in accordance with hotel standards. Maintain Time and Attendance system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all hotel/departmental policies and procedures.Maintain complete knowledge of ADP and Excel/Lotus.Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment only as intended.Set-up and organize workstation with designated supplies, forms and resource materials; maintain cleanliness at all times.Answer telephone with three rings, using correct salutations and telephone etiquette.Verify PSA’s and check requests have proper signatures as required by management.Corrections to associate’s paychecks performed only after required approvals.Maintain security of confidential information.Verify new hire information has been properly entered into ADP.Review hours in Time and Attendance; verify accuracy; make corrections as necessary.Train new managers on ADP Time and Attendance system.Perform a payroll audit for one department each pay period.Maintain PSA file in alphabetic order by year.Verify earnings codes and deductions codes each pay period.Maintain accurate record of all manual issued checks.Ensure security of all unused checks.Print designate reports and distribute as specified by the Director of Finance Business Partner.Complete month-end Accounting procedures as specified, including monthly reports.Properly deface void checks; maintain void check log.Each month review the outstanding check list; re-issue or void checks as needed.Verify 401K contributions and loans match Scudder prior to wire transfer.Ensure quarterly tip education is performed to all tipped associates.Ensure all gratuity associates are paid in accordance with approved distribution.Verify each pay period that tipped associates meet minimum wage requirements.Verify each pay period that gratuity associates meet requirements to be overtime exempt.Balance and distribute W2’s each year-end.All other duties as required.General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.Technical Skills: Ability to input and access information into the ADP system; ability to maintain concentration and think clearly; ability to prioritize, organize and follow-up; ability to promote positive relations with vendors and associates alike; ability to provide clear and pleasant telephone communication; ability to maintain confidentiality of pertinent employee data; ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision; ability to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods of time; ability to focus on details and resolve numerical problems; ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.

The pay scale for this position is between $27.00 and $32.00/hour. This is the pay range for this position that the Hotel reasonably expects to pay.
