Payer marketing manager

Market Access is a key function in the adoption and commercialization of Insulet products and has an essential role in ensuring that people living with diabetes can access highly innovative products for the management of their condition. The Payer Marketing Manager role sits within the International Value and Access Group, reporting to the Director of Access.

The successful candidate will engage with internal stakeholders including the International Value and Access team, marketing teams and quality management. This role will ensure that content developed by the Value and Access team communicated to payers across our markets, will be engaging, tell the right story to meet their needs and be communicated through the right channels.

This position will be dedicated to Insulet’s international business to drive sustainable access to Omnipod® technology

Responsibilities

Supports the International Value and Access team to develop compelling, evidence-based payer strategies and messaging that conveys clinical and economic value tailored to specific geographies:Designs and implements targeted marketing strategies that provide access to Omnipod® in private payer channels across International marketsLeads the validation of value propositions through engagement with internal stakeholders and select external experts to ensure they are fit for purposeDevelops a global repository of approved value messages, campaign assets, and supporting evidence for consistent use across marketsBuilds and curates libraries of relevant publications which support robust payer conversationsMaintains and enhances the team’s SharePoint platform to ensure accessibility, organisation, and usability of communications resourcesWorks closely with internal partners in the development of strong payer marketing strategiesCollaborates closely with the markets in the International region on implementation of regional campaigns and scaling best practices across the regionManages copy approval workflows for all payer-facing materials in accordance with internal compliance protocols and timelinesCollaborates cross-functionally with Value and Access, Medical Affairs, Quality, and Marketing to ensure unified messaging aligned with Insulet’s brand voiceParticipates in strategic projects that advance Insulet’s goals for innovation, inclusion, and international growth.

Required Leadership/Interpersonal Skills & Behaviors

Able to work as part of a team.Ability to influence without authority across functional areas.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate at multiple levels of an organization.Capacity to lead and deliver projects independently.Ability to think short and long term.

Required Skills and Competencies

Experience in communications planning and execution via multiple channels.Good understanding of effective communication channels.Proficiency in appraising and synthesizing large volumes of information, including clinical and economic information.Ability to prioritise and drive for results with an emphasis on quality.Ability to take ownership and accountability for wide-ranging project needs.Strong computer proficiency and experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Fluent in English.

Education and Experience

Bachelors degree (biomedical science, economics, etc.)Demonstrated professional experience in value communication, data management,  or market access positions within healthcare industry is preferred.

The position will be in-person at our offices in Hammersmith, London, 3 days a weekTravel is estimated at 25% but will flex depending on business need.
