Provide oversight and liaise with JHU Accounts Payable and Procurement teams to provide timely compliance for the outgoing payment process for vendors and sub- awardees.

 

 

Responsibilities

Payment Administration

Administor and manage  outgoing non-payroll Jhpiego payments, including:Subawards: review, confirm and submit invoices for posting and payment aligned with contractual term and donor regulations.Vendors: Oversee the end to end review and approval of vendor invoices for payment.

“Customer” Management

Provide guidance and coaching to internal requestors, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure accurate financial documentation by reviewing submissions and advising on necessary corrections or revisions.Ensure compliance with payment standards and timely processing of all outgoing non-payroll payments within established turnaround timelines.

Communication/ Reporting

Maintain and update internal tracker and Jira

DELIVERABLES:

 

Administer the entire vendor and subaward payment process, from invoice receipt to payment and produce requisite reporting (tracker and Jira updates)Orchestration of ALL outgoing non-payroll payments, including:Subawards: review, confirm and submit invoices for posting and paymentVendors: confirm invoices for paymentGuide internal requestors/ stake holders and vendors to revise/ correct entries as needed.Analyse and address challenges/ roadblocks/ impediments to require timely payment.

DURATIONS: 90 Days

 

HOURS PER DAY WEEK: 7.5 hours  per dau/ 27.5 per week

 

Required Qualifications High School Diploma  with 3+ years’ working in accounts payable, procurement, logistics and/or administrative support.Proficiency in SAP and JHU’s internal systems architecture Proficiency in use of Jira ticketing system in the Jhpiego contextFamiliarity with JHU teams & processes (accounts payable, treasury, procurement, and escalation avenues)Familiarity with Jhpiego’s SCM SOPsAbility to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to performVery strong organizational skillsExperience working in fast-paced, dynamic environmentHighly dependableSound problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate with diverse groups and at all levels (influencing, coaching and advising)Strong decision-making skills and results-oriented approachAble to manage several major activities simultaneouslyExperience working in an international, multicultural environment, preferably in a professional office setting performing similar duties Preferred Qualifications Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree

 

The hourly rate range for this role is expected to be: $24.20 - $29.46

JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
