Patient Transporter - Central Transport - Full Time Evening Shifts (St. Mary)
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Evening Shift **Description:** St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an Patient Transporter to join our team! Schedule: Full Time with Rotating Holidays and Weekends, shift 1:30pm - 10pm Transports patients within the Medical Center. + Observes for and reports safety hazards and broken vehicles to the Lead Transporter for immediate repair. + Transports patients on stretchers, beds and wheelchairs from one area of the hospital to designated area within the hospital campus, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient being transported. + Promptly reports any concerns of patients and/or happenings during transport to appropriate personnel. + Cooperatively assists in lifting patients in and out of bed as requested, exercising proper lifting techniques. + Cleans wheelchairs and ensures each area has an adequate number. + Keeps incident log of transports. + Performs all other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** + High School Diploma/Equivalent + CPR Certification - issued by AHA + Fingerprint & Child Abuse History Clearance (completed in onboarding if offered the position) **What We Offer:** ​ + Medical, Dental, & Vision Coverage + Retirement Savings Program + Paid Time Off + Tuition Reimbursement + Free Parking + And more! **Our Commitment** Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
