This posting is for multiple openings of Patient Services Specialist at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children's Hospital in Spokane WA. We offer 6,8,10-hour Variable shifts for Full-time. Part-time, and Per-Diem or On-call opportunities.

The Registrar is responsible for securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring this is documented timely and accurately. Consistently provides superior customer service that meets or exceeds the expectations of patients, visitors, physicians and PHS staff, including during periods of high patient volumes or stressful situations.

Required qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or GED.1 year Customer Service or healthcare registration

Preferred qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Some college level course work preferred particularly Medical Terminology or Medical Assistant coursework.upon hire: Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS)Registrar or third party payor experience
