Patient Services Representative
ob Title: Patient Scheduling Representative – Call Center Location: Remote (EST Hours) Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST Experience Level: Intermediate Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Patient Scheduling Representative to join our dynamic call center team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service and scheduling support across a variety of medical specialties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Deliver courteous and prompt customer service to patients and visitors. + Handle 70+ inbound calls daily to schedule appointments for physicals, sick visits, consults, hospital follow-ups, annual wellness exams, and CDL exams. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of individual physician scheduling preferences. + Accurately collect and communicate patient details to clinical teams. + Apply Patient Experience Tenets to achieve one-call resolution and ensure a positive patient experience. + Troubleshoot scheduling and operational issues, escalate when necessary, and suggest proactive solutions. + Participate in weekly team huddles and meetings to stay current on processes and systems. + Respond to patient inquiries and support requests in a timely and professional manner. + Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications + High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) + Minimum 1 year of call center phone experience + Availability to work full-time Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST, with occasional overtime or weekend shifts as needed Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
