Job Title: Patient Service Representative (PSR) – Outpatient Vascular Surgery Location: Cedars-Sinai Medical Network (CSMN), Beverly Hills, CA Job Summary The Patient Service Representative (PSR) in the Outpatient Vascular Surgery department is responsible for providing front-line administrative support to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional service. This role involves scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, coordinating referrals, and maintaining accurate patient records. The PSR serves as a liaison between patients, providers, and clinical staff, supporting the delivery of high-quality vascular care. Key Responsibilities + Greet and check in patients for vascular surgery appointments. + Schedule and confirm outpatient procedures and follow-up visits. + Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations for services. + Coordinate referrals to specialists and diagnostic services. + Maintain patient records in EPIC and other EMR systems. + Respond to patient inquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts. + Ensure compliance with HIPAA and Cedars-Sinai policies. + Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed. Required Qualifications + High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred. + Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or outpatient setting. + Proficiency in EMR systems (EPIC preferred). + Strong customer service and communication skills. + Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. + Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes. Preferred Skills + Experience in vascular surgery or specialty outpatient clinics. + Bilingual (Spanish or other language) preferred. + Knowledge of scheduling workflows and patient intake procedures. Work Environment + On-site role at the Beverly Hills outpatient clinic. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
