Departmental Overview The Sitter department is housed within Nursing Resources, a group of departments that allocate resources to patient care areas throughout the system to assist in providing safe care environments. Job Summary Patient Monitoring Communication Safety Commitment Provides basic patient care Qualifications Education High School diploma or equivalent GED. (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Licensure/Certification/Registration Basic Life Support *(BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment. Certified Nursing Assistant preferred. Compensation/Benefits $11.29-$18.45/hr based on previous work experience.
