Patient Financial Services Analyst
Position Summary + Performs various system functions relating to software and hardware in the department. Liaison between systems in the office, our I.S. Department and the system’s vendor, when needed. Primary Position Responsibilities + Facilitate and execute Electronic Claim Submission from HIS System through Billing Scrubber. + Test all software updates to various systems used, to ensure uninterrupted claim submission and cash flow. + Demonstrates excellent and independently executed time management skills. + Educates staff on new processes. + Runs system reports and analysis as requested by the Director of the Business Office. + Meets all productivity and quality standards as set by the Director of the Business Office. + Perform special projects and other duties as needed. Qualifications + Minimum Education : + Required: + High School Diploma or Equivalent + Preferred: + Associate’s Degree in Computer Technology, or Business + Certificate and/or Advanced Specialized or Technical Training in Computer/IS related field. + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Technology, or Business + Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation) : + Required: + 3 to 5 year’s business related experience; or computer/I.S. related computer experience + Preferred: + Hospital experience in a Business Office or Finance Office setting. + License, Registry or Certification : + Required: + None + Preferred: + Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCS-1) + Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities : + Required: + Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; + Preferred: + Hospital and/or Physician Office experience; Organizational skills, excellent Time Management skills Hunterdon Health is committed to providing a competitive benefit package to our employees.
