Patient Experience Coordinator - Canton, NY (Full Time)

Job Title: Patient Experience Coordinator
Department: Patient Experience                   
Location: Canton, NY (Hybrid with travel to surrounding locations in St. Lawrence Region)                      
Hours Per Week: 40
Schedule:  Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 4:30 pm              
            
SUMMARY:
Responsible for overseeing the effective and efficient patient experience process across the health system. Provides proactive rounding, education, and research to support patient-centered goals of the organization for the Corporate Compliance and Patient Experience department.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing and Administering the SLH Volunteer Program

Creating and compiling patient satisfaction reports and distributing to departments

Collaboration with RRH on patient satisfaction data and Pulse reporting

NRC vendor management

Managing and Administering the SLH Patient Advisory Councils

Patient Rounding at each SLH facility

Coordination of the patient experience orientation presentations

Coordination of the patient experience leader and staff training programs

Provide administrative support for Compliance and Patient Experience department in the form of document management, administrative functions, communication and liaising with other departments and special projects as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires 3-5 years’ professional administrative work experience

Demonstrated professional experience in implementing and managing software solutions, similar to: SafeConnect (Event Reporting System), Epic (Electronic Medical Record), and NRC Picker (Patient Satisfaction Survey Platform)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree

1-3 years’ professional experience in audit controls

Professional experience managing programs with successful implementation

Three years general healthcare industry experience

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
