Responsibilities Cedar Hills has an opportunity for a Patient Experience Coordinator to join our team of great people! How you will make an impact: The Patient Experience Coordinator engages the patients to support a positive experience in the hospital. They intervene with patient concerns, offer support, and serves as patient advocate for all patients and court liaison for involuntary patients. Responsibilities Include: investigate, resolve, and report grievances to leadership and staff assist in gathering, processing, and entering data, as well as creating and maintaining records and reports assist in the implementation of special projects designed to improve quality and/or compliance with various regulatory agencies such as weekly groups, data driven initiatives, and interdepartmental collaboration collaborate with departmental leaders to ensure resolution of concerns presented by patients, families, visitors, or other representatives of the patient address patient/family complaints and act as a liaison between the complainant and hospital administration/staff Who We Are: Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed behavioral health hospital and Outpatient Services program in Portland, Oregon dedicated to healing patients’ minds and bodies. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major coursework in the social, behavioral sciences or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year of Inpatient Psychiatric care, patient advocacy or case management required. 2 years of experience working with Notice of Mental Illness, court commitments, Oregon’s patient rights, preferred. Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR certification, Handle with Care and Service Excellence Training within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. This position will require one weekend day regularly. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
