Position Summary
The Patient Care Technician Instructor is responsible for providing students with patient care instruction and training at the Career Technical Training Center, leading to full-time jobs, higher education, or advanced training. This role ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data while meeting or exceeding performance goals. The instructor provides comprehensive case management to ensure student progress and achievement in the Job Corps program, as well as quality career technical training that leads to student placement.
Responsibilities Provide patient care instruction and training to students Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data Meet or exceed Department of Labor and company performance goals Provide individualized case management to ensure student progress and completion Monitor student placement and provide job leads to graduates Organize and maintain a conducive classroom environment for learning Hold students accountable for dress code and behavioral standards Produce quality work and assignments in a timely and accurate manner Plan and prioritize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines Mentor and model Career Success Standards for studentsAbout Brunswick Job Corps Center
The Brunswick Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.
